Titus 2 Book Club
What is Titus 2?
The idea for this group is based on the mandate given to in Titus chapter 2 which says to the older women,
"train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind and to be subject to their husbands so that no-one will malign the Word of God."
The Titus 2 group meets for a year to discuss together the practical application of the Bible in the specific area of womanhood. To facilitate this process women read books related to family, Christian growth, church, and current social issues.
When does it take place?
Meetings take place on the first or second Tuesday of each month (depending on your group) from 7:30-9:30pm starting on 4th February 2025 for a combined initial meeting at the church.

Hope Explored Session 1
There are few emotions more powerful than hope. But these days, hope often feels hard to come by.
What is Hope Explored?
Six hundred years before Jesus was born, a prophecy was made about him, that he would be called “Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace”. The gospel of Luke, which is an account of Jesus’s life, explains how these prophecies came true, and that this is great news for all people.
All over the world millions of people find hope and help in knowing Jesus Christ. Hope Explored is a three-session series about the life, death and resurrection of Jesus that examines his extraordinary claims. Through teaching from Rico Tice and studies from Luke’s Gospel, Hope Explored shows how Jesus offers us a hope worth having, a hope that won’t disappoint us.
What is each session about?
Over three sessions, Hope Explored presents the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, and provides an opportunity to discover how he fulfils three great longings we all experience: the longing for hope, peace, and purpose.
The structure of each session is simple: a short Bible study, a video talk and a discussion based on the talk.

Christmas Day Service
Join us for our Christmas morning service as we celebrate the birth of our Saviour. Note that the service starts an hour earlier than our normal Sunday morning services at 9:00am.
Carols Service
Join us for our annual carols on the lawn - come a little earlier to picnic and bring your whole family! We’ll be singing carols under the stars and hear a short gospel presentation from Rog this year.
Women's Christmas Event
Our annual Women’s Christmas evening is a great opportunity to invite a friend along to an evening of food, fellowship, craft tips, song items and a short gospel presentation. Get your tickets at the church or contact the church office for more information.
Church AGM
It’s time for our Annual General Meeting again, as we reflect on the year past and God’s provision to us, and as we look ahead to the future trusting in His guidance and strength. All members are encouraged to attend. If you are a visitor you are welcome to observe.
WPC Combined Service
Join us at All Nations Presbyterian Church as we gather together with our other WPC churches to celebrate Reformation Sunday. The theme is “Delighting in the Sufficient Word of God”. For this reason there won’t be an evening service at Maida Vale on this Sunday.
Church Family Picnic
Each year we join up with our church plant High Wycombe Church after the morning service on the church lawns to picnic together and play some fun sports for all ages. Everyone’s invited!

Church Family Camp
Join us for our annual church camp in Busselton - it’s a great time to relax, get to know your church family and to be encouraged in God’s Word together. It’s a self-catering weekend, so bring your own food and drinks. We have access to a fully equipped kitchen with a cool room, ovens, microwaves, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery and an outdoor BBQ.
